Community Integrity Building (CIB)
Community Integrity Building (CIB) is a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) recognized methodology and tool for building integrity and anti-corruption monitoring through the involvement of the community. CIB has made its name globally and is now being implemented here at our home country.
CIB is a social accountability approach that helps to identify and implement appropriate, viable solutions to improve the integrity level of a community. The methodology can also apply to operational areas in a business surroundings. CIB emphasises on participatory development, community engagement, advocacy and social accountability.
CIB helps improve service delivery by improving fix-rate solution rates, enabling communities to work with their local authorities and improve the overall quality of life.
