Anti-Corruption Policies & Procedures Guidelines on Adequate Procedures
In 2018, the Guidelines on Adequate Procedures was launched by the National Centre for Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Centre (GIACC). The guidelines were issued pursuant to subsection (5) of section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (Act 694), as stated in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (Amendment) Act 2018.
The aim of the Adequate Procedures Guidelines is to assist commercial organizations to understand what constitutes adequate procedures to be implemented to prevent the occurrence of corrupt practices in relation to their business activities. The guidelines were formulated upon five principles, which may be used as reference points for anti-corruption policies, procedures and controls the organisation chooses to implement under the above statutory provision.

It’s a tall order to conduct a gap analysis and see through the implementation of the 5 adequate procedure principles T.R.U.S.T and its subsequent company-wide implementation – but rest assured, we will guide you through it.
